Plans aren't just about putting things in order and maintaining the status quo.  They are really about making the most out of your time, for yourself and anything important to you.  It all starts with you. What you want, how you feel, what things contribute positively to your life.  

We're not saying there shouldn't be challenges, or that you shouldn't reach out to help others in need.  Quite the opposite, it's only through helping each other that we all find empathy and rise as a society! 

But, that energy and momentum must to start from somewhere and that somewhere is inside you!  This is why you must remember this first rule.

Rule 1: You cannot pour from an empty cup. 

This is one of the hardest rules to follow because needs arise from everywhere.  Sometimes from things that can be delayed, sometimes from things that can't, but what's always true is that no matter what happens - you must make time to fill your cup. 

Doing this will give you the energy and resilience you'll need to change your life, and the lives of others!
