WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

I have come to really appreciate the journal, I'm over halfway through the book and it has helped me steady some habits and work towards my goals.

Andrew Shields

As a master's student, I needed something to help me reach my goals of finishing academically strong, completing research and volunteerism, but also identify what was important to me in improving myself. The Self Journal was amazing at being able to simplify large goals into day to day accomplishments, helping me check off most of my goals. I definitely could not have done it without it's help, and I look forward to being a continued customer to the BestSelf brand!

Nigel

I am always on the lookout for new resources to share with my fellow entrepreneur. The SELF Journal was a no-brainer. It is a must for every entrepreneur!

I am finally journaling

I have bought a handful of journals in my lifetime. Finally found one that works for me. I didn't want to write a diary or track habits I was failing at. Just a couple statements under 6 difference topics and your done!!! week and a half, twice a day and counting

Love my set (hope they bring back the Seasons edition!)

I have used ordinary blank books as day-planners and journals for years. I'd found ways to divide the pages to track to-do lists, errands, note results of family member medical appointments and work meetings. In some ways, my home-made system was great because every page was customizable. But it got tedious drawing a new four week calendar very 30 or 40 pages, and it was hard to plan and track long-range plans without lots of post-it notes sticking out as reminders.

I read a review of the Self journals in a New York Times Smarter Living article in January 2019, and the description just clicked. I had a flock of huge, overwhelmingly complex, projects to manage (related to the loss of two family members and a third moving to assisted living, so plenty of grief and distraction marbled in). I ordered the Seasons set (two cool, two warm colors) immediately.

Thanks to the detailed forward planning materials in the front, the weekly check-ins, and daily, detailed scheduler, I have managed to self-publish a memoir about my husband and our Christmas trees, catalog hundreds of mom's and dad's books for sale, and start my own website. I doubt I could have maintained focus on these multiple projects for so long without the prod of the journal on my nightstand/in my tote-bag/on the car front seat.

I have just started the third journal of the set; the fourth will bring me full circle to a new year. I'll very likely get another set of four: I feel I've only scratched the surface of projects I'd like to realize. I just hope BestSelf brings back the lovely four-color Seasons edition (for me, the blue and grey is just a bit too downbeat for a whole year...).
