This bundle has changed the game on our conversations between my husband and I and with our littles. During family dinner, we each pick a topic then a random card and go around the table and answer the prompt. My kiddos love it! I even plan to use the ice breakers for a starter in my training classes. Thank you so much!

I will never be able to express the value the little hero journal has added to our lives. My son, who is 8, is a beautiful and kind kid who over the past couple of years has become very sensitive to his appearance as compared to others. An ad on Facebook for the Little Heroes Journal got me thinking about including a mindfulness journal for him. I looked at several journals for him, but I kept coming back to the little yellow journal and I am so glad I did! He does not really like to read and write; he struggles with that in school. What I really want others to know that this journal can be a wonderful fit for kids who don't like to read/write! It can actually help them enjoy those things! The little yellow journal (as my son calls it) sits on his desk in his room and while he might not use it every day, he does journal into it a few times a week. His handwriting is horrible! He doesn't use complete sentences! And that is ok! Let the kids use this journal like the kids they are! BUT, the words he does write: Powerful. The conversations the questions spark for us to have: Priceless. As I mentioned, he struggles with positive self image as he is a big kid and sometimes other kids have teased him. He has told me he does not like looking into the mirror; he has told me he doesn't like his face. Over the past year we have worked on positive self image and how to treat ourselves with kindness and over the past few months have used the little hero journal. When the journal prompted his response to "Write one thing you are grateful for that is beautiful" he wrote "my face." For me, as a mom, to read that and know that some of what we are working on is getting through...that he is starting to see himself as beautiful...When I asked Mason questions, I get a lot of "I don't know" but when he reads the questions in the little hero journal he really thinks about his responses. The book is BEAUTIFUL and thoughtfully designed. It is at the perfect price point for what it is. Our human culture puts a lot of emphasis on the physical; we spend so much money on sports, exercise equipment all the things for our physical bodies...but our minds are just as important. This company provides invaluable tools to help us be (and see) our Best Self! I had reached out to this company to thank them for what they are doing and I got the most beautiful response from such a caring person. I felt the strong need to write this review and share the positive experience my family has had! And my son says "I LOVE MY LITTLE YELLOW JOURNAL."
