Tips on how I use the Ice Break Cards every day!

The Icebreaker Deck stands out for the versatility of its prompts, ranging in fields from the superficial "Would you rather..." to "deep." Each topic is color-coded for easier access, and the deck feels compact enough to carry with you without trouble. The cards are thick and durable, and the amount of prompts (150) is high enough that I doubt many people would be able to get through all of them any time soon. It’s amazing how much you don’t know about the people closest to you. This deck really helps you explore topics you haven’t discussed before.

Some are fine with chit-chat.. 'surface' conversation that doesn't really seem to enrich any participant. Now, don't be too judgemental; many people who might come off as 'surface' just simply need a few catalysts to kickstart them into deeper discussion. This is an incredible deck full of deeper questions. Read the room; skip or modify if needed. They're still ideal for hosting company, meetings, couples, or your kids.

I like it because the deck can add more flavor and depth to your conversations. And I was wanting/needing something like this in my own life.

As a life coach for singles, I wanted to do IN PERSON singles events...and needed some ICEBREAKERS. I found this ICEBREAKER card set annnnnnd ICEBREAKER DEEPER TALK. and my clients LOVED it! Our group is all about learning to improve yourself for your next (and current) relationships. ALL the products from BestSelf Co are absolutely AMAZING!! They get an A+ from this former teacher!

I’ve already had other decks but this was the best. The only thing that I absolutely hated was the shipping company. But even costumer service was super useful and upfront to solve the problem!

I have not been able to use the deck as I had to have them shipped to a friend of mine in the UK because you ship to limited places only.

Used for a family night and had a great time.

I really enjoy this and it might seem awkward at first to bring it up with friends or with co-workers, but it really is fun and it's self-perpetuating because people really start to open up. We eventually started coming up with our own questions to ask too. Only card I threw out is the "what's the best thing about the opposite gender" because I have non-binary friends and it's not a great question.

I have put these cards to use after having them used on me at the start of a meeting the other week.

Instantly they up the vibe of a meeting on the way into the agenda and had everyone smiling and energised. Ripper idea!

It’s a great conversation piece. It’s a tool. However it’s only good 4-5 times tops. Then you have the questions memorized.

I was about to delete my Facebook account because I was tired of the regurgitation of memes and politics, but I decided to start posting a card a day to my page and it’s given me a whole new appreciation for social media. I feel like I’ve gotten to know people so much better🙂

I like the concept and it's certainly a useful deck of cards, but the questions are largely boring or unusuable, very few excite you into starting a conversation. It would be good to add some more 'fun' questions, e.g. "Would you ever take part in a threesome". That's not a great example, I'm just saying there are many types of question to get conversations flowing, and these ones are not ideal. Also the cards are large and bulky (too thick). I would prefer a more compact format to make carrying them around easier.

We enjoy pulling cards and answering them! It does not feel too heavy or burdensome but an pleasant detour in our boring everyday conversations 😊

What fun and an excellent tool for communication. It is thought provoking and a great way to open communications with someone.

Order on 12/3 and Best Self is asking for a review on 12/21. Unfortunately I never received this order. I’ll be following up with customer service.

I bought 2 decks, as gifts, and I'm very excited to use them with my partner. I couldn't help but peek in one of them before they were wrapped and based on the content I looked through, I know that both decks will be put to good use. I also wanted to comment on how responsive the support staff were when I emailed them for a shipping concern I had -- they were willing to reship my products for me, but thankfully I was able to resolve the issue on my side quickly before anything was sent again. Very happy with the products and the service!

I love this already, I have gotten it just today and I am already loving it! I expected the cards to be larger but I actually like the size it came in. I have tested this out a bit and I am very excited to use this with my friends and family!

I bought this to spark some deeper conversations within my Meetup group and with friends during quarantine times, and so far, I really enjoy them.

This was a nice way to help with understanding other people in a group while enjoying something sweet

This was a perfect for our company retreat so we could all get to know each other better. Well worth the price!
