Love this for its size, quality of the paper that withstands Micron pens, light grid dots for maximum creativity, opens flat that is key, pocket in back is helpful. Ruler inside and grid guide. Amazing organizational tool!

I hope this item never gets discontinued. Of all my notebooks I use this he lost when I want to brain dump at home instead of forgetting anything I feel may be important. I like the tart away corner. I’d like to see numbered pages but that may increase the cost lol. Softcovers are my favorite. I find myself walking about the Apt with my scribe in my hand to capture recipe ideas, things to buy my service dog, wishlist items, coursework planning etc

This is my favorite product from best self. I like the flagship planner and habit map. At first (several scribe books ago) I wasn’t sure how to use this item. Then it hit me one day when I didn’t want to forget a great idea. The rest is history. I like leisurely writing my ideas as part of decompressing at night. Great value.

Outstanding

Great journal

After extensively using your SelfJournal and Planner for the past few years, the Scribe has actually become my primary tool. I leverage the frameworks and templates of the other notebooks and manually write them into the Scribe in a custom process that works best for me. I love the quality of the Scribe over other notebooks I have used, i also love supporting this business. I would like to see the Scribe have multiple ribbon placeholders instead of page corner perfs and page numbers to allow me to index my journal.

The quality is very different to your journals

Luscious! I LOVE the paper used for the Scribe! I also like Scribe's cover. It has a good feel and protects against occasional damp table tops.

I have purchased the Best Self journals and was really happy with the quality--I loved everything about the paper and binding. I wanted to get into freeform journaling so I bought the Scribe. The quality is just not there. The cover is some cheapo vinyl like material--it's ugly and looks like naugahyde. It's soft cover, which is mentioned nowhere in the description. Because the cover is soft, it comes banged up and the elastic strap is already digging into the back. There was also some dirty schmutz on the front cover and this is supposed to be brand new. The only positive is that the actual paper inside is nice. But for the money? Absolutely not. I would not repurchase this item.

My SCRIBE notebook has quickly become a valuable tool in my day to day routine. The design makes it easy to carry when out of the office. Making SCRIBE a part of my work day was a smart choice!!

Hey Guys,
I am a maverick and wild man who works in the cannabis industry. I have since 1988. My work includes helping bring quality control to the sub-regulated medical cannabis industry, and eventually the recreational market. In 2007 we launched the first cannabis analysis lab (Steep Hill Lab) dedicated to screening the cannabis supply for medical patients. Anyhow, my life is hectic and I’m not very organized. You guys have helped me change that and I wanted to say thank you.

With all the love,

I know I should be talking about the value of the content of the cards, which is in itself tremendous, but I want to emphasize the quality of the paper. As if the creators of this product focused on making their customers happy by enabling them to touch a piece of paper that is as soft as Egyptian cotton. The very touch of the cards puts you in a calm mode.
Thank you for thinking of me, the consumer, when doing the wonderful things you do.

Best 5.5" x 8" notebook around. Sturdy and high quality binding, cover and paper. Love 'em.

good quality and nice size notebook.

Absolutely love the Scribe notebooks! Good quality, great design with well-thought-out features. Stylish enough to take into a meeting, casual enough to enjoy using for leisure projects. Can’t fault them!

Love using this for thoughts and ideas!!!!

I really like my Self-planner and decided to try the scribe. Good paper, but the cover is not great quality and the band broke off after just a week of light use.

Difficult to provide feedback when item never arrived.
Item ordered 5 August yet to be received.

Always have a backup journal for notes and addition planning and rambling. This Scribe book is the perfect side and a great companion to my Best Self Journal.

Best products EVER!!!

I love the feel of writing on this notebook, but I was very disappointed when the strap to hold it closed broke the very first time I opened it. Hopefully, you have better luck!

absolutely love the Scribe books. They are perfect and my go to book for notes, inspiration, and thoughts. I have looked to see if there are any better on the market and frankly I always retrun to these.

In addition to great product the service is excellent and very quick.

I would not hesitate to recommend these notebooks and the complete range on offer by BestSelf.

I’ve been specifically looking for a dot-gridded notebook because I have product ideas and have a not-very-regular handwriting (static it mildly). So you can imagine what join the Scribe has been plus bestSelf’s excellent design and customer service. It’s a definite and emphatic winner! Thank you for making it!

Anxiety gone.

Anxiety gone.

The Scribe catches all my thoughts and any design I have at any time of the day or night. I use the bullet system for my thoughts with no particular order and I feel great that I’m not forgetting anything. The size is small enough for my daily commute and for my home time regrouping. It allows me to focus on the present and stop obsessing about any other time. Handy perforated corners. I use the elastic strap as my page marker and remove the corner when I’m fine with the page, both sides. It serves me well for work and home. Great idea thanks!
