I love everything I've bought from this company

I used to be a bullet journaler (now I'm on my 2nd Self Journal) and tried to make a project planning spread myself. But for some reason, I just never wanted to use it. It looked like a mess and I overcomplicated it, so I never used it. Project planninng became its own project. After all my life hasn't fallen apart since I stopped project planning. I'll just list the next steps in my to-do's and that's basically the same, right?

Enter this notepad. It's beautiful. The paper is sturdy and feels nice in the hand and plays spectacularly with my broad fountain pen. You will WANT to use it. And one notepad will last you a long time, given that you're supposed to use one page per project. It occupies the sweet spot between too simple (and therefore useless) and so complicated that project planning becomes a project unto itself (which was what went wrong with my BuJo project planning! On top of having to format everything myself). This saves me from having to reinvent the wheel and after I put all of my thesis actions on paper, I felt lighter. Much lighter. You just need look at your completed plan and feel like you have a mastery of your project.

I didn't even realize the low key stress I was in trying to keep everything in my head and not knowing how far along the project was (they provide a progress bar!). Ok, it was, like, 20 bucks. But that's a lot of projects you can plan. And I haven't been able to find a productivity that combines form and function perfectly. The perfect tool is useless if you don't want to use it and I've found quality its worth paying for.

Not to mention their stellar customer service. The tracking stalled after my package was shipped, and they promptly sent me a new one. My original package mysteriously arrived (the shipping company still insists they don't have my package, from the tracking) and the CS reps just told me to keep it! If only every company was like this.

Partners perfectly with your Weekly Action Pad or SELF Journal

Plan the big picture in your Project Action Plan then turn to-dos into dones with the help of your WAP or SELF Journal.

Projects require a lot of bandwidth, but when your head is full of ideas and decisions, it’s hard to think straight and concentrate fully on the task at hand! It’s a challenge - lack of focus will cause delays and pile on the stress.

The Project Action Pad works as an ‘external brain’ to free up the headspace you need to take action. With your plan on paper, you can swap repetitive thoughts and low-level decisions for productivity. Parking tasks for later unlocks more bandwidth for creative problem solving and innovation too. It’s how you can turn project to-dos into DONES and crush the complex goals that will transform your life.

Here's how

  • 1. Project name

Make it easy to distinguish one project plan from another.

  • 2. Outcome goal

Pin down your desired outcome with your SMART project goal (that’s Specific, Measurable, Action-based, Realistic, and Time-bound).

  • 3.Deadline

Set a time frame to inspire implementation, promote prioritization, and fend off procrastination.

  • 4. Action/Tasks and due dates

Deconstruct your project into its component parts to reduce overwhelm and make implementation easy. With this ‘external brain’ of every task, you’ll also free up bandwidth, promote focus, and cut indecision.

  • 5. Track progress to your finish line

Use the checkboxes and progress bar to monitor your project, stay on track, and proactively manage delays.

  • 6. Note spaces

One idea can change your life! Use the dot-grid note section to keep your inspired thoughts safe.

"The backbone of success is hard work, determination, good planning and perseverance."

– Mia Hamm
