Date Deck for Meaningful Connections

Helpful hints for building good communication while dating.

I brought these to my girlfriend's house for one of our first dates, and we had a great time getting to know each other through this deck - and a lot of wine. It was a wonderful way to spend the night, and I would highly recommend it.

This has helped create incredibly meaningful vulnerable opportunities for connection.

I enjoyed asking a partner questions from this deck. It made getting into conversation easy and enjoyable.

I bought this as a game but we have learned so much about each other. Highly recommended!!

The cards are professional, thoughtful, and look good. I was expecting more generalized questions for those who are just starting to date, not those who are physically intimate or in a serious relationship. IMO, this deck is for those who are seriously dating, not going on dates.

Just tried the cards out. Having 5 "levels" in the deck allows you to work thru things at you own pace: matching the maturity of the relationship!

Every single card/question was profound! Such a good deck, I'm ordering again!

I bought this deck after using the Intimacy pack (actually used that pack with friends to build understanding and connection). I used the date deck with a new person (cis-man) that I (cis-woman) am dating. The deck has a wide variety of questions that are suitable for early dating period as well as later dating.

We did find that we skipped quite a few questions that perhaps weren't applicable due to the fact that we are in the early stages of dating.

As someone who can be a little on the quieter side, I found that even thumbing through the deck on my own gave me ideas of questions to ask on a date.

I look forward to continuing to date this guy and bringing some of the questions we skipped back into play.

There’s this girl I’m talking to… we were really close the first couple weeks and then we began to distance ourselves. I think it came from the fact we doubted each other’s affection due to our traumas. I got us this game. A month in we played together and it brought us closer and raised our understanding of each other. Thank you Bestself! I’m buying the next stage intimacy deck for us now two months in. I’m going to get them all 😂

Good experience with the questions... but the cards weren't cut correctly and were therefore difficult to shuffle.

nteresting to say the least. It helps me of where’s the neglect in intimacy, or sex life. How I can work on myself to be more free in being intimate with my partner, and it being taken seriously that to say I did it.

I got this item based on the pictures. The cards that came were not remotely what I was expecting and it was more of a “truth or dare” thing without the dares. It wasn’t worth playing and if I hadn’t opened the package I would if returned it.

I got these for my man and I for Valentine’s Day thinking I would have to force him to play them with me. But it was actually him that wanted to keep pulling cards all night! Really sweet game and questions that helped us get to know eachother better.

The cards have been great fun. Challenging at times- honesty requires vulnerability. The exercise has been nice for our relatively new relationship.

Starting a new relationship and we are choosing 5 cards a week and writing our answers down in a notebook and sharing them with each other the next week. Great questions that are deeper than surface level.

I love the idea of your cards and the quality of them. However, we found most of the questions either were asking to start trouble or just silly. Some of the questions should not be discussed without a therapist present.

We did not keep the cards because we wanted them to be more fun then they are designed to be. To many of the cards seemed to dive into deep issues, not fun.

I like the product idea. I would break the cards up according to more demographics such as being married or not. Age group will make a difference as well in your products case. An older divorced person will probably need different questions then a single 22 year old that has never been married.

The questions are great and have opened up communication. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because one question appeared in the deck twice under two different categories. Felt like we missed out on another question to start a conversation so I feel a little cheated.

I ordered the Date Deck and was very unhappy with the questions in half the deck. So many of them are confrontational and open up an extremely vulnerable place in the relationship without the experience of a therapist or coach to help us navigate the turbulence that comes from rocky communication. They go deep into vulnerability without setting a safe container to handle what comes up.

My husband & I play it while we eat dinner at home. It opens up new conversations, we’ve learned new things about each other & it’s fun. Would recommend!

I cannot recommend this highly enough. My boyfriend and I spent hours playing cards and going through the entire date deck taking for hours on our 1 year anniversary. It really opened some new doors in our relationship and let us find the answers to questions that we didn't even know we needed to ask.

My experience using this deck was pretty good. My partner and I have been together for 8 years now and I'm realizing that I don't know as much about her as I thought I did. Definitely worth a buy.

I love this deck I did it as a question of the day to make it drawn out and more insightful to be able to drag a conversation longer if we wanted to.
I took a star away because I also order the intimacy deck with it and I’ve got no updates. It went out of stock when I got the date deck so I left it alone but now it’s ridiculous to see it for sell and still not have it. It was pretty annoying that both didn’t ship together in the first place. I just emailed them today after a month or two of waiting. Even my shipping on my end says one deck sent but yet on the shipping app says completely delivered but for one item :l. I rarely try a fb add but I won’t be again if this is how orders are taken care of. I wouldn’t care if I didn’t spend almost 50 dollars but I did and that could have been on something like food or a date night instead.

We played and it gave us an opportunity to know each other more and express thoughts we never thought we would. Tremendous insight into the dynamic of human relationships.
